Your best source for New Zealand bred eventers The three phases on eventing
[an error occurred while processing this directive]

New Zealand has an unrivalled record at producing the world's best eventers and you can find more of them with the help of the team at Eventers.co.nz.

Clifton BuzzWe have a particular focus on finding talented young event horses that have what it takes to be winners at Intermediate and Advanced levels, but we recognise that many of our clients need a horse to see them through Novice (US Prelim) level and so we can help here too.

Because of this, we offer a very personalised service, from sourcing to shipping, looking after every detail for you along the way.

Donna Smith and Call Me Clifton going over Fence 19A at the WEG. After having taken five days to fly from the USA to Europe, 'Webby' was not a happy horse and thus not his usual energetic self. She retired him two fences later.

Check out our new site!

It's taken a while, but the new Clifton Eventers site – in at least a basic form – is now up and running. We apologise if some of the pages linked to are not yet populated with content, such as text, photos and videos, but these will follow over the next few weeks. The news, Jock's Blog and calendar sections are running and we have a links section too. If you want to subscribe to our occasional newsletter, you can do that here. Enjoy. Click around.

The easiest way to buy a great eventer!

You'd be surprised what great value New Zealand horses can be – you can buy a truly sound and sane New Zealand eventer for much less than you may have imagined.

We believe we are offering the best way for overseas buyers to source eventers in New Zealand. We offer a fully personalised service and will only ever put forward a horse for purchase when we have checked it out ourselves. Our reputation is everything to us and you might want to check out some quotes from past customers. Most people come to New Zealand to try the horses we selected for themselves. However, some buy just from seeing a video and our feedback. We're happy to work either way.

We'll try to respond quickly and accurately to your request for a specific kind of horse as well as any enquiries that you may have, so please contact us and give us a try.

If you want to know more about what we can do for you, take a look at the background to the driving force behind the services we provide, Frances Stead, who also runs the very successful group of eventers that go under the Clifton Eventers name.
